Jerry Cunningham is a seasoned communications and marketing executive with a proven track record of building multidisciplinary teams through strategic leadership and creative solutions. As President and Chief Innovation Officer at Envision You, Jerry led initiatives focused on mental health and substance abuse awareness for LGBTQ+ and BIPOC communities. His commitment to community outreach and healthcare access aligns perfectly with CHAIN’s mission of linking individuals to stronger, healthier lives through empowerment and inclusivity.

Rebecca Givens is a partner in the Denver, Colorado office of Frost Brown Todd practicing primarily in the areas of real estate development and finance.  Her previous experience as senior vice president and general counsel of a national homebuilder and a senior housing developer and operator makes her well versed in all aspects of the real estate industry and provides her with a broad understanding of risk assessment and mitigation with a focus on providing real time strategies that incorporate current social and economic factors.  Rebecca believes in impactful community participation on issues that are personal.

Jen Hepworth lives with her husband, 4 kids, and 2 dogs in Utah County, Utah. Her middle daughter was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis at 3 weeks old. Jen began her parent advocate journey in 2017. Jen has since championed for healthcare reform in Utah and nationally through advocating for the ban of copay accumulator programs. Jen spends most of her time volunteering with various cystic fibrosis and children’s hospital non-profits. Jen graduated from Weber State University with a BS in Sociology in 2023. Jen enjoys exploring Utah with her family, baking and shopping with her daughters, and reading when she finds time. 

Miranda Hoover is a native Nevadan and the Executive Director of the ROC Foundation, the non-profit arm of Reno Orthopedic Center (ROC).

Ms. Hoover graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science, Pre-Med, and holds an MPA, Healthcare Policy & Business, from the University of Nevada. Prior to joining the ROC Foundation, she held positions including Business Development Director and Chief of Staff at the Nevada Mining Association and Executive Director of Legislative Affairs at Capitol Partners. She was also awarded  a “20 Under 40” designation by the Young Professionals Network (YPN) in 2024 and Top 10 Saleswoman of the Year by Professional Saleswomen of Nevada in 2019. Miranda’s background in public health administration aligns with CHAIN’s focus on proper administration of funds in our health care system.

Cindy Komar has been a patient advocate since her son was born with severe hemophilia twenty one years ago. She started the Arizona Chronic Care Together Coalition (ACT Coalition) seven years ago to amplify the patient voice to legislators, state agencies and other key stakeholders. She built the organization to a membership of over 40 patient health organizations that serve the over 4.2 million Arizonans with one or more chronic conditions in Arizona. Cindy was also founder of the Arizona Blood Alliance, a nonprofit agency serving those living with hemophilia, von Willebrand disease and Sickle Cell disease and their families in Arizona
